After listing, Champ Resto opens the 3rd Monsieur Spoon Outlet at PIM
JAKARTA – After the success of opening outlets at Urban Farm Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) and Mall Kota Kasablanka, PT Champ Resto Indonesia Tbk (ENAK) as the owner and manager of Monsieur Spoon has re-opened its 3rd outlet outside Bali, namely at Pondok Indah Mall ( PIM). The Monsieur Spoon outlet, which is located at Street Gallery-PIM, was officially opened on Sunday, February 13, 2022 yesterday.
Chief Operating Officer of Champ Resto Indonesia, Hade Mboi said, Monsieur Spoon who was present at PIM put forward the concept of a conservatory with the feel of an authentic French Bakery Cafe & Bistro. Champ Resto also presents a larger Monsieur Spoon outlet at PIM. In addition, he revealed that Monsieur Spoon has a different concept, especially with a very strategic outlet location and maintaining semi-indoor in the midst of a pandemic.
“The outlets at PIM have a larger capacity than our two outlets in Jakarta. Having an open indoor room which of course is also safer during a pandemic like now,” he said in a written statement, Monday (14/2).
Hade said, after listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on February 8, 2022, Champ Resto is ready to expand for business development. For Monsieur Spoon, in the near future the company will focus on opening outlets in the Greater Jakarta area, then to big cities in Indonesia.
“We will be ready to expand to other cities to make it more affordable for customers and fans of Monsieur Spoon,” he said.
Monsieur Spoon, he said, succeeded in attracting the attention of the public because his party prioritizes quality and number one taste combined with outstanding building and interior concepts, thereby stealing the attention of customers and also people who pass in front of the outlet.
“We use premium quality products and ingredients that we import directly so as to create a delicious and quality taste and continue to innovate with quality new products at affordable prices,” he said.
Furthermore, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Hade said, the bread business is still in demand by the public. Monsieur Spoon, currently has more than 100 variations of viennoiseries, breads and pastries. Where, the Croger menu (Croissant Burger) which has just been launched has become a favorite menu. In addition, new pastry menus, namely Croissant Toast and Kouign Amann Brown Sugar, coffee and other beverage menus, as well as a variety of sandwich, pasta, and main courses that must be tried for breakfast, lunch, and dinner have also become their mainstay menus.
Prior to its expansion to Jakarta, Monsieur Spoon was already present in Bali with six branches, namely in Petitenget, Umalas, Ubud, Canggu, Pererenan, and Seminyak.
“Until now, Monsieur Spoon in Bali is still very popular with the public, especially foreign and local tourists who are deliberately looking for a place for French Authentic Bakery & Cafe. Monsieur Spoon is one of the most-visited restaurants that must be visited when in Bali. During this pandemic, visitor reception must also follow health protocols, we also have an outdoor area with beautiful views,” said Hade.
He added, Monsieur Spoon is clearly different from other French Bakery. Monsieur Spoon uses 100% French premium butter for his Viennoiseries products, and uses the best ingredients such as French baking chocolate, Valrhona chocolate, vanilla beans, and others. All pastry recipes are also authentic recipes from the co-founder Monsieur Spoon who is from France.
“The ingredients we use always use the best and natural quality. In addition, we also have many variants of healthy food, such as healthy bowls and we also provide a vegetarian menu,” he added.
