JAKARTA – PT Champ Resto Indonesia Tbk (IDX: ENAK) or hereinafter referred to as CRI Group, welcomed Ramadhan positively this year by holding activities to share happiness and togetherness with dozens of orphans in Jakarta. This activity is a form of the company’s commitment to supporting the realization of sustainable business by implementing ESG (Environment, Social and Governance).

During the sharing activity, the orphans were taught how to garnish ramen, one of the menu from Gokana. In addition, CRI Group introduced the importance of cleanliness as an operational standard in running a food and beverage (F&B) business. This is aligned with the CRI Group’s Ramadhan theme of cleanliness of the heart.

Operational Director of PT Champ Resto Indonesia Tbk, Hade Mboi, said that the activity of sharing happiness and togetherness with orphans in the month of Ramadan is a part of the company’s responsibility to its stakeholders. Hade also added the importance of introducing hygiene in F&B. The food hygiene aspect has become our DNA. Sharing activities demonstrate that the company always prioritizes the development of the surrounding community.

“We hope that through this sharing activity, we could contribute to sustainability development goals that are related to humanity, not just financially oriented,” said Hade during the breaking of fasting with orphans at one of CRI Group’s outlets, Gokana Ramen and Teppan in Sarinah Building, Jakarta, Tuesday (18/03/20025).

Furthermore, Hade explained that this activity is one of the company’s activities to continue to grow sustainably. Business Food and Beverage (F&B) is a business that always interacts directly with consumers. Hade Mboi said that social activities with the surrounding community need to be considered. “The business has been growing so far because of the support of the surrounding community. Therefore, we are very aware of how to contribute to social life and the environment”.
